Docura X12 template¶
In this article, you can find examples of documents in the X12 format.
Each example has been anonymized to improve readability and prevent the exposure of sensitive business information.
All company identifiers, addresses, tracking numbers, and other potentially sensitive data have been replaced with placeholder values while keeping the original document structure intact. This allows the examples to clearly demonstrate how X12 documents are structured without revealing real transactional data.
Unique Transaction Identifiers¶
Another important aspect of our implementation is the use of unique identifiers in the ISA13 and IEA02 segments.
These identifiers are generated using internal document IDs from our system. By using internal document identifiers, we ensure that each transaction has a globally unique control number.
This approach guarantees that every EDI interchange we send can be uniquely identified and properly tracked throughout the entire integration process.
