01 SFTP FTP channels¶
SFTP - Secure File Transfer Protocol is a network protocol that provides file access, file transfer, and file management.
FTP - File Transfer Protocol is a standard communication protocol used for the transfer of computer files from a server to a client on a computer network. NOT secured by default
Docura offers both protocols, but prefers SFTP.
Docura can use both scenarios:- Partner side server
- Docura side servers

03 Docura folder structure:¶
By default, all documents types for all your partners will be send/received from one folder. If you need separate folders for different document types (ex /in/orders/), please request support@docura.net.
Outgoing files from Docura to partner: /in/
Incoming files from partner to Docura: /out/
04 User name and password for Docura server connection¶
- Register at www.docura.net and add your organization.
- If organization is already exists, your users must be enabled from Docura support. Send request to support@docura.net or use the chat at the bottom right corner of a screen.
- Go to Docu-EDI
- Settings - Organization - FTP/SFTP settings
- Select SFTP/FTP connection type
- See current user name, password and connection settings. Save
- Go to sftp.docura.net via WINSCP or other client. Check folders and connection
