01 SFTP FTP channels

SFTP - Secure File Transfer Protocol is a network protocol that provides file access, file transfer, and file management.
FTP - File Transfer Protocol is a standard communication protocol used for the transfer of computer files from a server to a client on a computer network. NOT secured by default

Docura offers both protocols, but prefers SFTP.

Docura can use both scenarios:
  1. Partner side server
  2. Docura side servers

02 Docura connection parameters

01 Docura network IP for white list:

02 Docura server addresses

Live

sftp.docura.net , port 22
ftp.docura.net , port 21 , passive mode

Test. SFTP only

sftp-test.docura.net , port 22

03 Docura folder structure:

By default, all documents types for all your partners will be send/received from one folder. If you need separate folders for different document types (ex /in/orders/), please request .

Outgoing files from Docura to partner: /in/
Incoming files from partner to Docura: /out/

04 User name and password for Docura server connection

  1. Register at www.docura.net and add your organization.
  2. If organization is already exists, your users must be enabled from Docura support. Send request to or use the chat at the bottom right corner of a screen.
  3. Go to Docu-EDI
  4. Settings - Organization - FTP/SFTP settings

  5. Select SFTP/FTP connection type
  6. See current user name, password and connection settings. Save
  7. Go to sftp.docura.net via WINSCP or other client. Check folders and connection
