Certificate Creation Process for Bank Statement Exchange¶
To enable the sending and receiving of bank statements, a certificate must be created.
Please follow the steps below carefully.
Step-by-step process
1. The Client initiates the certificate creation process. The Client confirms the need to create a certificate for bank statement exchange.
2. Docura generates a private key (.key) and a Certificate Signing Request (.csr). Docura creates the private key along with the certificate signing request in .csr format. (An example of completing the request is provided below.)

4. The Client submits the Certificate Signing Request (.csr) to the bank
5. The Client sends the Certificate Signing Request (.csr) file to the required bank.
- If the bank is one of the SEB Bank branches, the Certificate Signing Request (.csr) must always be sent to:
balticgateway@seb.lt
6. The Bank signs the CSR. After digitally signing the certificate request, the bank generates the final certificate (.pem) and sends it back to the Client.
7. The Client forwards the signed certificate to Docura. The Client sends the received certificate (.pem) file to Docura.
8. Docura completes the final configuration steps. After receiving the signed certificate, Docura performs the final setup required to enable bank statement exchange.
